Brown Shield Bug (?) in Clear Acrylic

On offer here we have this unidentified brown bug encased in clear acrylic.

Possibly a brown shield bug, according to Google images, but we are not bug experts. We welcome any further information.

In good condition, plenty of fine scratches on acrylic but doesn't affect visibilty as shown.

Measures approx 40mm x 72mm x 23mm. Bug is approx. 17mm x 28mm.
